How can you help?

You can choose to volunteer as:
  • an in home one-one-one volunteer to a person receiving hospice services

  •  become part of our Quick Response Team, who are a group of individuals who take shifts to sit with a person and or their family during the last 24 hours of life

  •  become a Grief Group Facilitator, through additional training

  •  or volunteer your talents playing music for the person receiving hospice care, providing energy work, hand massages or other skill based service. (All persons wishing to volunteer their skilled based talents will need to work closely with the Coordinator of Volunteer Services to develop their individual practice guidelines within the Hospice Volunteer Program before providing direct care.)
To volunteer or learn more about volunteering, please call the Coordinator of Volunteer Services at (207) 721-1271.

You will be invited to take part in our next free volunteer training session which will be in the fall of 2018. Download the volunteer application here.
Snow policy: If the Brunswick schools are closed, the Hospice Center is closed and all programs are cancelled
All services provided by our volunteers and coordinator, including home visits and consultations are free. We appreciate, and use, contributions and memorial donations from individuals, towns, and businesses to support the free services that we provide.
